Holy Grail- Face cream

HEY BABEZ,

FACE CREAM! Have I got your attention? Face cream should be used 2 times a day, always before you apply makeup and also before bed. I found my skin to always be inconsistent when I was not using cream and if I was it was cream that did not balance out my face! So I went to Sephora tried lots of products on my face and have found one that will work for pretty much anyone. The product is called First Aid Beauty Repair Cream, it sells for about 20-40$ depending on the size you go for- which isn’t a bad price at all! The thing about this cream is if you have a couple dry spots that’s where you would apply it, not all over your face. The brand also has a great face wash I use and it’s for sensitive skin and makes your face feeling nice and clean after. SO CHECK IT OUT!

HEY! 

So lately I’ve been feeling down and swamped by work. I haven’t gone to the gym in weeks and i find myself always working and when i finally have the day off I just relax. Well I’m trying to change that mindset and figure out how to manage and boost myself up. I’m trying out a planner and trying to give myself deadlines so I can enjoy what I love… EXERCISE! When I’m feeling down I tend to eat more junk food and not care what goes in my body. So below I found some inspiration words to live by this week!

So Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday! If you’re like me, you are going to be running around trying to find the best gift for you mom but end up just getting her flowers! So this year be prepared and get some ideas from my gift guide. Summer is coming up so a cute beach towel and cup is a cheap way to go. Also, I recently spotted pink Burkenstocks… who wouldn’t love those? Or to keep things simple, a bottle of wine and cookbook will make any mother happy.

Glowing Summer Routine

Hey!

I’m going to give you the inside scoop on my latest simple makeup routine. I appreciate the coverage and look these products give and totally support the brands! I first start out by washing my face with First Aid Beauty face cleanser. I then use the same brand moisturizer (highly suggest this brand if you have dry/oily skin). After I’m done prepping my face for my daytime makeup i use the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation using my beauty blender. This foundation goes on thin and allow’s you to build if needed. After my foundation is on, I use the Nars Concealer around my nose and and blemishes I’d like to fix. The Nars Concealer creates a good highlight while giving you coverage in your look. To finish off my face, I go in with my Clinique Chubby Stick. The stick is very dark and will work for all skin colours if you’re blending your makeup well. This makeup look can be finished off with mascara and you’re ready to go! This makeup routine is for summer, when you don’t feel like putting on alot and want to feel light and summery. I’m currently on the hunt for a good highlighter for my skin colour! If you have any suggestion please comment 🙂

Hello!!

I’ve always been a huge Youtube fan to lifestyle (fashion/beauty) bloggers. I always seek out to find out the latest tips and brands from each Youtuber I like to keep up with. My absolute favorite Youtubers are Lauren Elizabeth and Olivia Jade. They both offer great fashion and beauty hauls. Although their style is quite expensive for the average gal, they offer look alikes for much less. They also do makeup tutorials and makeup reviews for the products they come by! Their personalities and videos are a must see for any fashion and beauty lover out there! Their Instagrams are also very pleasing and bring you in by their aesthetic. They are based out of Hollywood and are truly amazing people to inspire to be, because they’re honest and show their authentic self..

Highlight on FLEEK!

IM BACK! 

So I’ve been experimenting with highlighters and have the ultimate guide to get the best highlight on your face. So before I would just highlight with a concealer to exaggerate where the light hits naturally on my face; And would never try the glittery highlights.  But then I discovered BECCA, E.L.F and Laura Mercier. Now if you want a cheaper option than $50 go with E.L.F cosmetics. My favourite is the Laura Mercier because it gives you a natural glow and a little goes a long way. BECCA highlighters are great too.. don’t get me wrong. It’s just I find with my skin colour (tan) Laura Mercier look very natural and comes in golden shades compared to BECCA which comes in lighter shades. CHOKERS!

Hello! Are you into chokers these days? If so, where do you love to buy yours… I use to only wear the gold simple chokers, thinking I couldn’t pull off the fancy or hip hop look. But I’ve been experimenting with some and I would love to share! So i went to NY in December and bought a couple of simple gold chokers with a diamond or two on them at Accessorize. I felt they didn’t make a stable to the outfit because they were so simple and hidden. So I recently went to Forever 21 and found a cute gold chain choker and a silver fancy chocker. I received so many compliments that i now want to infest in some of the brand named choker! Take a look below at some of my favorite chokers this season.

Hello, I’m back!

Im dying to share this chic trend that needs to be seen, that are slides with cropped jeans. Have you seen the Gucci embroidery slides? They are to die for… but so pricey!

I saw many options of this classic black leather slide at forever 21 and Steve Madden. So next time you’re out looking for the next shoe to buy, stop by a store a try on these. Make sure to pair with cropped jeans and a baggy dress shirt!
