So Mother’s Day is coming up this Sunday! If you’re like me, you are going to be running around trying to find the best gift for you mom but end up just getting her flowers! So this year be prepared and get some ideas from my gift guide. Summer is coming up so a cute beach towel and cup is a cheap way to go. Also, I recently spotted pink Burkenstocks… who wouldn’t love those? Or to keep things simple, a bottle of wine and cookbook will make any mother happy.
So what are you getting you mother this Mothers day?
Gucci is everywhere. Is Gucci the brand to style with all your outfits? I’m seeing fashion bloggers styling Gucci belts with nice gold detailing on their favorite pair of jeans or even a loose Gucci top. Now I’m sure in L.A or N.Y you can find Gucci thrift but here in Canada there is no such thing! So this Gucci trend will be an expensive one but buy at your own discretion! Below are some inspired outfits, take a peek!
Thanks for checking in,
I’m going to give you the inside scoop on my latest simple makeup routine. I appreciate the coverage and look these products give and totally support the brands! I first start out by washing my face with First Aid Beauty face cleanser. I then use the same brand moisturizer (highly suggest this brand if you have dry/oily skin). After I’m done prepping my face for my daytime makeup i use the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation using my beauty blender. This foundation goes on thin and allow’s you to build if needed. After my foundation is on, I use the Nars Concealer around my nose and and blemishes I’d like to fix. The Nars Concealer creates a good highlight while giving you coverage in your look. To finish off my face, I go in with my Clinique Chubby Stick. The stick is very dark and will work for all skin colours if you’re blending your makeup well. This makeup look can be finished off with mascara and you’re ready to go! This makeup routine is for summer, when you don’t feel like putting on alot and want to feel light and summery. I’m currently on the hunt for a good highlighter for my skin colour! If you have any suggestion please comment 🙂

Who doesn’t love having their hair out of their face and looking cute at the same time? I’m seeing a lot of celebrities sporting the messy do’s and I absolutely love it. I personally like the half up and half down look on me. You can curl or straighten your hair with the look or wear it naturally and wavy. Another look I see that popular is the messy low bun; pairs great with a leather jacket to give it the grunge look. Both these hair styles look great with any hair color and type and I suggest you try it out for yourself.
Tell me which is your favorite!

Now that Spring is here (for some), I thought you’d like to see the latest, trendy colours I would pick this season. Nude colours in all shades are a go to because they match every outfit and look classy! Of course if you’re looking to step out of your comfort zone a navy blue or grey will also do the trick. I feel the navy blue dresses you up a bit if you have a special event coming up. Check out the pictures below for some inspiration– credit to OPI and Essie nail polish.
- Colours available at your local Walmart, Target or other drugs stores.

Im in love with the boho shoe trend coming in style, how can you not be obsessed? They can be paired casual or even dressed up with the style looking great on everyone. I’m so excited to pair these shoes with cropped jeans and an off the shoulder blouse. Also, this trend is a comfy trend; when you’re in a rush you can just slide your tan feet into the shoes and off you go! Look at my favorites below…
- Naturalizer Manor Slide
- Ugg slide on slipper
- Revolve Daya slide on’s
See you next week xx Deja
Spring is just around the corner and I have some perfect dresses that should and could be worn this season. Lately, I have seen lot’s of celebrities and fashion guru’s pairing maxi dresses that are off the shoulder. Now you say you’re short? So am I, but take a look because I’m all about this style. This trend is not only classy but it is a trend you can wear to dress up or go out casual in town. Some shoes you can pair with a maxi dress include: Havaiana flip-flops, summer wedges and sandals. These summer maxi dresses also look cute when they’re halter style and deep V neck. The style I am loving is the Boho look with either lace or floral print. Take a look at the options down below for some idea’s.
