FACE CREAM! Have I got your attention? Face cream should be used 2 times a day, always before you apply makeup and also before bed. I found my skin to always be inconsistent when I was not using cream and if I was it was cream that did not balance out my face! So I went to Sephora tried lots of products on my face and have found one that will work for pretty much anyone. The product is called First Aid Beauty Repair Cream, it sells for about 20-40$ depending on the size you go for- which isn’t a bad price at all! The thing about this cream is if you have a couple dry spots that’s where you would apply it, not all over your face. The brand also has a great face wash I use and it’s for sensitive skin and makes your face feeling nice and clean after. SO CHECK IT OUT!

I’m going to give you the inside scoop on my latest simple makeup routine. I appreciate the coverage and look these products give and totally support the brands! I first start out by washing my face with First Aid Beauty face cleanser. I then use the same brand moisturizer (highly suggest this brand if you have dry/oily skin). After I’m done prepping my face for my daytime makeup i use the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation using my beauty blender. This foundation goes on thin and allow’s you to build if needed. After my foundation is on, I use the Nars Concealer around my nose and and blemishes I’d like to fix. The Nars Concealer creates a good highlight while giving you coverage in your look. To finish off my face, I go in with my Clinique Chubby Stick. The stick is very dark and will work for all skin colours if you’re blending your makeup well. This makeup look can be finished off with mascara and you’re ready to go! This makeup routine is for summer, when you don’t feel like putting on alot and want to feel light and summery. I’m currently on the hunt for a good highlighter for my skin colour! If you have any suggestion please comment 🙂

So I’ve been experimenting with highlighters and have the ultimate guide to get the best highlight on your face. So before I would just highlight with a concealer to exaggerate where the light hits naturally on my face; And would never try the glittery highlights. But then I discovered BECCA, E.L.F and Laura Mercier. Now if you want a cheaper option than $50 go with E.L.F cosmetics. My favourite is the Laura Mercier because it gives you a natural glow and a little goes a long way. BECCA highlighters are great too.. don’t get me wrong. It’s just I find with my skin colour (tan) Laura Mercier look very natural and comes in golden shades compared to BECCA which comes in lighter shades. Take a look below at my favourite options and feel free to comment your favourites!
- BECCA- Golden Bronze Pearl
2. Laura Mercier- Medium Illuminator
3. E.L.F- Moonlight pearls Highlighter

If you didn’t already know I am obsessed with skincare. Or if you’re a girl you’re also. Anyways I believe keeping your skin healthy involves you caring for it day in and day out. It all starts with your diet and what you choose to intake on a daily basis. Yeah, yeah, you’re probably thinking,”So you don’t eat chocolate or hamburgers ever?” Well yes I do, I eat lots of treats but I balance out my diet. If I’m going to have junk/unhealthy food choices I pair it with water. ALWAYS! Anyways lets begin…
Firstly, I start by washing my face with First-Aid Beauty face cleanser, I make sure its foaming before I rinse my face off. Next I pat my face dry with a dry towel and apply Origins charcoal face mask. (I highly recommend investing in this product) Leave the face mask on for about 10 minutes- until dry, then rinse. After all the product I just put on my face I make sure to moisturize with First-Aid Beauty moisturizer- only apply on the dry spots because it is very hydrating! After all that I drink a big glass of water before bed and refill incase I want some later in bed.
All products can be bought at Sephora–
Who doesn’t love having their hair out of their face and looking cute at the same time? I’m seeing a lot of celebrities sporting the messy do’s and I absolutely love it. I personally like the half up and half down look on me. You can curl or straighten your hair with the look or wear it naturally and wavy. Another look I see that popular is the messy low bun; pairs great with a leather jacket to give it the grunge look. Both these hair styles look great with any hair color and type and I suggest you try it out for yourself.
Tell me which is your favorite!
